Organize and promote events that create connections among like-minded business people from across Dakota County and expand their professional networks.
To foster, encourage, promote and develop cooperation between individual Chambers in Dakota County for the betterment of all Chamber businesses in Dakota County.
To promote the interest, desires and needs of the Dakota County business community through outreach and communication to members of the general public, government officials and to elected representatives.
To analyze existing laws and proposed legislation of specific interest to Dakota County businesses and to provide information to the various Dakota County governmental entities on these laws and proposed legislation.
Where there is consensus among a majority of the Alliance members present that a policy, action or law of any level of government adversely impacts the business community of Dakota County, the Alliance may take appropriate action.
Serve and represent our own communities while collaborating together as often as possible to expand events and marketing options for all our collective Chamber members.
Together we can have an even “LOUDER REGIONAL VOICE” on behalf of our collective members at the City, County & Federal Levels.
Our continual monthly meetings of member Chambers of Commerce south of the river helps us to identify earlier, any issues which may arise and opportunities to take advantage of.

Dakota Electric Association purchases wholesale electricity from Great River Energy, a generation and transmission cooperative in Maple Grove, MN. Dakota ElectricSM utility services are distributed to homes, businesses and farms in parts of Dakota, Goodhue, Scott and Rice counties.
